I was a professional librarian for 12 years. Then came 2 children. I'm writing a fantasy novel. I'm a Christian of a liberal kind. I have built a computer for my son! I am so smug about it. I help run a Parent-and-Toddler Group at my local Church Hall, which is a lot more fun than you'd think!
I ought to explain the name: it's from the major fantasy series that I began writing when I was 17. Even the memory of the story now makes me shudder, but I'm still fond of that particular girl. It is also an obscure Lord of the Rings reference.
